Finding a great roommate can be difficult. Your idea of clean might be completely different from theirs. And they might think they can move their boyfriend in and still only be responsible for paying half the rent (true story).
So Cossette has launched a special tool on Killam’s website for roommate hunters to find their perfect roommates. Fill out a simple questionnaire that covers topics ranging from everything from cleaning duties to guests, and once completed, you’re instantly matched with people with similar values. It’s kind of like EHarmony. Except it’s for roommates. And it’s completely free.
“It’s a new tool for Killam,” says Bruce Whelan, Cossette East’s Creative Director. “Previously all you could really do when looking for a roommate was post a classified ad or contact individual Landlords. Killam’s Roommate Matchmaker finds potential roommates for you by pre-screening potential matches based on their compatibility. Then you can meet to see if you’re a fit and take it from there. It’s a service that adds value to the Killam brand and sets them apart because it’s free and no one else is offering anything like it.”
