So I can’t say that this year’s Super Bowl commercials blew me away, but I did enjoy the E-Trade baby commercials – especially the one with the Milkaholic Lindsay. I remember mentioning it the day after the Super Bowl – saying it was one of my favourites. So when I heard that Lindsay Lohan was suing E-Trade over this commercial I burst out laughing at the shear absurdity of the situation.
When I first entered our new office space, one of my first thoughts was ‘Wow – this is amazing’, and my sense of awe still hasn’t diminished after 3 months. When you first get off the elevator you get a sense that you are entering a company that is on the cutting edge, but still recognizes the fundamentals of its business. The oldness of the wooden beams combined with the sleek furnishing remind you a lot of Eastern Canada – full of history, but still hip and modern.
