The McLobster is a bit of a tradition in some parts of Atlantic Canada: It comes around every year. But interest had waned, and our challenge was to invigorate the product.

Our mission was to create an interactive experience that communicated to local businesses that digital media is here to stay. So we Introduced Endangered Marketers, a group on the brink of extinction due to outdated thinking.

Inspire a national audience to donate to Doctor’s without Borders, a relatively unknown charity, during a recession
Challenge:
Building on design work that was previously created, the Nova Scotia Department of Health came to us with an ambitious request: develop an integrated marketing campaign designed to bring health care workers to Nova Scotia.
O’Regan’s Chevrolet Cadillac needed to refresh the look of their portal site.
Upgrades included integration of a YouTube Channel that would play within the top banner of the site.

Not every mom thinks it’s necessary for her children to receive the flu shot. This is partly due to the fact that most people refer to just about every illness they catch as “the flu” and in most cases it only takes a few days to recover.
We’re especially proud of the Silver Lion we won at the Cannes International Advertising Festival for our McDonald’s ‘Fries’ and ‘Burger’ newspaper ads. The campaign had previously been the winning entry in a Canada-wide contest run by the Globe and Mail.
Gone, almost, are the days of letting a beautiful font go unknown.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve always been interested in advertising. It probably has something to do with my family gathering around the computer watching commercials on Ad Critic – everyone feeding off one another’s laughter.
Even today, with advertising changing as much as it has, it’s still a hot topic of discussion around the dinner table. The only difference is that now it’s more than just a commercial, it’s a stunt, or a gimmick that’s somehow engages the audience and makes a lasting impression.
